DON’T QUIT!

Allow me to speak a word of encouragement to you.  Maybe you’re discouraged and can’t see a solution for the problems you are facing.  Just when it appears calm weather might be in sight, another storm knocks you off your feet.  You’re physically tied, mentally exhausted, and emotionally drained.  This is for you:

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

And the road you are trudging seems all uphill;

When the funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh;

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

 

Life is odd with its twists and turns,

As everyone of us sometimes learns.

And many a failure turns about,

When he might have won had he stuck it out.

Don’t give up though the pace seems slow.

You might succeed with another blow.

 

Success is failure turned inside out,

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.

And you never can tell how close you are;

It may be near when it seems afar.

So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit;

It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.

 Don’t quit on yourself. Don’t quit believing in God.  If you need wisdom, ask Him for it; He is an “all knowing” God.  If you need healing, He is the Great Physician.  If you need security, He is the Rock of Ages.  If you’re hungry, He’s the Bread of Life.  If you’re lost, He is the Great Shepherd.  If you need forgiveness, He is the Savior of the world.  You really can do all things through Christ who gives you strength.

That’s my view of things.
